Kate photographed on a fishing trip. BOISE, IDAHO, USA: Registered nurse Kate Small (30) from Boise in Idaho, USA, began hunting with her stepdad Tom when she was just 19 years old. Outside of the hunt itself, the duo would spend months setting up trail cameras and tracking animal behaviours, making the activity a great bonding experience ? something Kate now does with husband Justin. In fact, it?s a lifestyle Kate hopes to pass on to her children for several reasons. In addition to spending time in the great outdoors and making lifelong memories, Kate is keen on providing for her family and values the organic, nutritious meat she?s able to harvest. Perhaps the most important element of hunting to Kate is its sustainability and promotion of conservation. By hunting certain species in the United States, hunters like Kate are able to manage animal populations. Without this, herds could suffer from an overabundance of predators or lack of vegetation. Kate is able to salvage enough meat during the hunting season to feed her family for most of the year and uses the animal hide and head for mounting. As each animal is hunted for its meat or conservation, very little goes to waste. The only animals that Kate does not eat are wolves or vermin species like badgers and coyotes due to the parasites they carry. Within the hunting community, Kate has received an outpouring of support online for her promotion of animal conservation but her photographs have also been met with ?thousands? of death threats from those who aren?t as familiar with the sustainable elements of hunting. One hater told Kate, ?I?m going to put your baby in a blender and listen to her scream.? Other abhorrent trolls commented that they would ?rape and murder? Kate?s two-year-old daughter Finley or her pet dogs. Despite the grisly nature of these threats, Kate tries to laugh them off ? citing that condemning someone for hunting animals and then threatening to kill their pet is somewhat of a double standard. MEDICINSKA SESTRA S JEZIVIM HOBIJEM; Zbog ovih nezgodnih slika dobiva gnjusne prijetnje: 'Nije li to licemjerno?'
